Five Styles, Rolls, Pitched Rolls and Swing, Synced to Your Song.
Hatch writes hi-hat patterns and plays them with its own synthesized hats. Pick Trap, Drill, House, Boom Bap or Rage, press REGENERATE until the groove clicks, then shape density, rolls (1/32, triplets, 1/64), pitched rolls, open hats, swing, humanize and variation between bars.
Every pattern comes from a seed number, so the same seed always gives the same groove. Hold a note or press PLAY: the pattern locks to your DAW's bars and beats, goes out as MIDI, and drags onto any track as a MIDI file for your own samples.

How does Hatch work exactly?
Every control, then the three steps.
- STYLE – Trap, Drill, House, Boom Bap or Rage.
- REGENERATE – A new pattern from a new seed; step to neighbouring seeds with the arrows.
- DENSITY – How many sixteenths fill the groove.
- ROLLS – How often a step becomes a roll.
- ROLL PITCH – Rolls that glide up or down, up to an octave.
- SWING – Delays the off-beat sixteenths.
- TONE – Brightness of the synthesized hats.
- DRAG MIDI – Drop the pattern on any track as a MIDI file.
- Load Hatch on an instrument track and hold a note, or press PLAY.
- Pick a style and 1, 2 or 4 bars, then hit REGENERATE until the groove fits.
- Shape rolls, swing and sound, or drag the MIDI onto your own hi-hat sampler.

Can I use my own hi-hat samples?
Yes. Drag the pattern out as a MIDI file (closed hat on note 42, open hat on note 46) onto any drum sampler.
Will the same pattern come back later?
Yes. Every pattern is defined by its seed and settings, which are saved with your project and presets.
Which formats and systems?
Mac: VST3 and AU on macOS 12 or later (Apple Silicon and Intel). Windows: VST3 on Windows 10/11 (64-bit). AAX for Pro Tools is not available yet.
How does the licence work?
A licence key is emailed right after purchase. Paste it in the plugin (or in the free TuneDrip Hub for macOS and Windows, which on Windows also installs the plugin) and click Activate: one internet connection, then the plugin works offline. Each key activates up to 3 computers; write to info@tunedrip.com to reset them.
