Hear Cloudburst in action
6 previews rendered through Cloudburst. Flip between dry and wet while it plays.
Cut the Sound Into Grains. Let Them Rain.
Cloudburst slices the incoming signal into grains, from a single stutter to a continuous cloud of thirty-two, reads them back at a speed set in octaves, detunes each one at random and scatters them in time and space.
Five knobs do the work: NUMBER, SPEED, DETUNE, SPACE and MIX. The menu adds Freeze for infinite pads, grain size from 20 to 500 ms, scatter over the last 1.5 seconds, reversed grains, feedback and density.
Six preset families: Clouds, Pitch, Textures, Rhythmic, Vocal and Extreme.

- MIX – Dry / wet blend.

- Pick a preset and set NUMBER: 1 for stutters, 32 for a smooth cloud.
- Shift SPEED by an octave, add DETUNE and SPACE, then Freeze a chord from the menu.

Frequently asked questions
Any other question? Write to info@tunedrip.com.
What does Freeze do?
The write head stops and the grains keep reading what was captured, so a chord holds for as long as you like.
Can it make an octave choir?
Yes: SPEED +1, DETUNE at zero and SPACE at half on a voice gives an airy octave-up layer.
Which formats and systems?
Mac: VST3 and AU on macOS 12 or later (Apple Silicon and Intel). Windows: VST3 on Windows 10/11 (64-bit). AAX for Pro Tools is not available yet.
How does the licence work?
A licence key is emailed right after purchase. Paste it in the plugin (or in the TuneDrip Hub) and click Activate: one internet connection, then the plugin works offline. Each key activates up to 3 computers; write to info@tunedrip.com to reset them.
