Pulse, Stepped Triangle, Saw and Shift-Register Noise.
Pixel is a chiptune synthesizer made the way the old sound chips worked: naive pulse waves with fixed duty cycles, a four-bit stepped triangle, a sawtooth and a 15-bit shift register for noise, clocked by the note you play. Aliasing is part of the sound and stays in on purpose.
Three oscillators per voice, a two-pole filter, one ADSR, one LFO, glide, a bitcrusher and a tempo-synced arpeggiator. Sixteen voices, pitch bend, mod wheel and sustain pedal, and a CRT that draws the output waveform in phosphor green.
32 presets in nine families: Arcade, Space, 8 Bits, Alien, Chip Lead, Beep Bass, Retro Keys, Lo-Fi, plus Init and your own.
