MIXI is an AI vocal chain you talk to. A small animated bot fills the left of the plugin. Press the mic and say "I want to sound like Yeat" into the same mic you record with: MIXI listens, thinks for a second, answers in one sentence and shows every value it touched, before and after. There is no window to allow and no separate app, because it hears you through your track's input, and the speech recognition runs inside the plugin, offline, on Mac and Windows. Behind the bot is a complete chain in one plugin: gate, tuning, a second voice (an octave or a fifth under, an octave above, or both), EQ, two compressors, de-esser, grit, air, doubler, chorus, tempo-synced delay, an airy octave-up halo, reverb and a safety limiter. It comes with 87 chains in the style of today's biggest rap, trap, rage, drill, R&B, pop, Latin and UK voices, plus 16 style chains. Then refine in plain words: "less reverb, more delay", "wider", "make it deeper". UNDO takes back the last request, every module keeps its own page in ADVANCED, and a LIVE mode cuts the latency when you record while listening to yourself. The presets are starting points inspired by what is heard on commercial records, not an imitation of anyone's voice.
How does MIXI work exactly?
Every control, then the three steps.
- THE MIC – Press and talk into your track's mic. A meter shows what MIXI hears, and he tells you if nothing is coming in.
- THE TEXT BOX – Type the same thing whenever you prefer. It always works.
- 87 ARTIST-STYLE CHAINS – "Sound like" any of them, then adjust. Variants of the name work too: "uzi", "carti", "travis", "billie".
- THE BOT – Listens, thinks, answers and shows what it touched, moves to your vocal during playback and suggests the next move.
- 15 MODULES – Gate, Tune, Deep, EQ, Comp, Level, De-ess, Grit, Air, Double, Chorus, Delay, Halo, Space and Limit, each with its own page in ADVANCED.
- LIVE – One pill for recording: shorter latency so you can hear yourself through MIXI while you track, then switch it off to mix.
- Insert MIXI on your vocal track and arm the track so your mic reaches it. The GUIDE shows the three steps inside the plugin.
- Press the mic and say who you want to sound like, or tap a QUICK ASK. The chain lands in a second.
- Refine in plain words, or open ADVANCED and set any module yourself.

Does it need the internet or an AI subscription?
No. The speech recognition and the assistant both run inside the plugin. Nothing is sent anywhere and it works offline, with one price and a lifetime license.
Does my Mac or PC ask for microphone permission?
No. MIXI doesn't open your microphone: it listens to the audio your host already sends to the track, so the track must be armed. If it can't hear you, it tells you, and the text box always works.
Can I record through it?
Yes. Switch LIVE on: the latency drops to about 35 ms at 48 kHz and notes are followed from 110 Hz up. Switch it off to mix. For zero-latency monitoring, use your interface's direct monitoring and play back through MIXI.
Will I sound exactly like the artist?
No plugin can change who you are. Each chain reproduces the kind of tuning, saturation, delay and space heard on that artist's recent records, as a starting point you can adjust. MIXI is not affiliated with or endorsed by any artist.
Do I need other plugins?
No. The whole chain is inside MIXI.
Which formats and systems?
Mac: VST3 and AU on macOS 12 or later (Apple Silicon and Intel). Windows: VST3 on Windows 10/11 (64-bit). AAX for Pro Tools is not available yet.
How does the licence work?
A licence key is emailed right after purchase. Paste it in the plugin (or in the free TuneDrip Hub for macOS and Windows, which on Windows also installs the plugin) and click Activate: one internet connection, then the plugin works offline. Each key activates up to 3 computers; write to info@tunedrip.com to reset them.
